Automated Response

I imagine you have used the Simple Agent of Send Document that has no parameters.

There are other Simple Agents allowing selection of To, CC etc.

My preferred method is using LotusScript.
This is so that we can avoid using the IBM send code by depositing the message directly in the server mail box.
By doing this the email is not sent by the Agent Signer or contains any 'Sent on Behalf of' type headers.
I would also recommend that the Agent on processes emails in a specific folder - such as the Inbox - and after processing, moves the email to another folder.
Better still is the stamp the document with a 'Processed' flag and check for this before sending a reply.

This avoids the issue that numerous companies have hit serious issues where thousands of really old emails have been reprocessed to customers due to the Agent Manager restarting, somebody moving / restoring documents etc.
